Though the primary focus of Debating Matters is the running of our annual UK competition, we work with others on related projects of mutual interest.
In addition to our annual schools debating competition, Debating Matters works with a wide range of partners to produce one-off debate projects, both in the UK and abroad.
We have staged Debating Matters in India, Israel and Germany to date. We have worked with the British Pregnancy Advisory Service on issues relating to reproductive health and with the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, looking at the role of engineering in society today.
2017 also sees the return of Debating Matters Beyond Bars, in partnership with global security company G4S, which takes the Debating Matters format into prison.
