PEOPLE

  • William Carter

    Student & DM Alumnus

    University of Bristol

William has been arguing with people since he was three, progressing from Nursery assistants, to Secondary school teachers, all the way to sixth form students from around the country. He studied Politics, Psychology and Geography at A-level, and is currently studying Politics and International Relations at Bristol. His debating team battled its way into the national final in the 2015/16 competition, where they got knocked out. The most interesting debate he was involved in was in regards to whether Britain should pay reparations for its role in the slave trade, a debate that was as thrilling as it was cringe-worthy.
