Lecturer in Musicology
The University of Sheffield
Tim is a Lecturer in Musicology at the University of Sheffield, having previously taught at the Universities of Nottingham and Oxford. He is an expert on Renaissance music, and has spoken and published widely on the subject. He used to be a professional cellist, teaching in schools and performing in a wide range of genres, as well as working with several bands. He lives in the Peak District with his family
