Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Recipient
US-UK Fulbright Commission
Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University, where she received both her Bachelors of Science and Masters of Education. She has been an educator in the US since 1991, where she has most recently served as Teaching Coordinator of the Late Afternoon School, an award-winning graduation program for students with special needs in rural Tennessee. She is currently a visiting scholar at the University of Leeds School of Education, as a recipient of the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching. During the 2013-2014 academic year, she will be completing a project comparing post-16 education in the US and the UK, which she will share with the US Fulbright Commission and American educators.
