University of Manchester
Nathan studies the History of Science, Technology, and Medicine at the University of Manchester. He researches public health, drug policy, and the diseases of workers. Nathan graduated with a degree in Biology from Vassar College, where was an editor for two student newspapers and debated on the American Parliamentary circuit. Nathan has served in numerous science and health communication roles, from teaching Biology in inner-city schools to promoting sustainable mosquito nets in rural Uganda. He has worked in the US Senate, as an Education Fellow with the United States Botanic Garden, and as a programme director for a small non-profit in his home state of West Virginia.
