    Research Assistant

    Medical Research Council Social and Public Health Sciences Unit

    After graduating from the University of Leeds in 2006 with a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Social Research, Michael started his current job as a research assistant at the medical research council’s social and public health sciences unit in Glasgow.  He works in a programme of research looking at the social patterning of health over the life-course.  He specialises in longitudinal data analysis and has been involved in a range of projects covering topics such as social inequalities in health, anxiety and depression, lung function, biological ageing and sleeping disorders.
