Mark is an award winning entrepreneur and freelance management consultant. He is a pioneer in the field of knowledge integration and innovation. He works with organisations to create competitive advantage by understanding how to generate and subsequently act on knowledge-derived insights. Mark is a futurist, with a specific interest in understanding the future of work – how the convergence of technology and social trends radically impacts how we think about productive labour and the sweeping change that will bring. Mark enjoys challenging prevailing thinking and conformity, and revels in stimulating radical thinking. Mark is also a part-time smallholder, raising rare breed sheep and pigs in the Scottish Borders where he lives with his family. Mark is passionate about the immense benefits that sport plays in the development of our young people. He sits on the board of trustees of a local community sports charity and coaches mini-rugby at Selkirk Rugby Club.
