Lorna spent four years studying physics at university and is now using her scientific background in the context of museum education, leading workshops and science shows for school groups when they visit Thinktank Birmingham Science Museum. As part of her role, she is heavily involved in Thinktank’s programme of debate and dialogue sessions. In addition to working full time, she has returned to education part-time to complete an MA in Learning and Visitor Studies in Museums and Galleries. This is her second year of sitting on the judging panel for Debating Matters.
