Linda Murdoch is the Director of the Careers Service at the University of Glasgow. She was previously director at UCL and Goldsmiths College Careers Services.
Linda served as the Convenor of AGCAS, the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services, Scotland, from 2006-12 where she led the successful lobbying of the Scottish Government for funds to support the employment of international students studying in Scotland. She was also one of the original architects of Scotgrad, a scheme which helps local companies employ unemployed and underemployed graduates.
Linda has written about recruitment and labour market issues for graduates and she is currently undertaking a doctorate at the University of Glasgow entitled ‘Towards a Sociology of Wellbeing in HE’.
