Kate works as coach and facilitator to senior leaders and their teams across a wide range of organisations. Originally a youth worker in Inner London, she worked as Training Officer for the National Union of Students, and then with OXFAM for 12 years, initially managing staff training, then heading up development and humanitarian aid programmes in Burundi, Angola and Mozambique. Her current work involves coaching leaders and teams to be confident and persuasive communicators, in particular as they navigate their organisations through increasingly turbulent times of uncertainty and change. She lives by the sea in Brighton with her husband, teenage step-children and Herbie the dog.
