Jane has a background in senior management in the arts which she started while studying Philosophy at the University of St Andrews. Since then she has worked for the Theatre Royal in Glasgow and Glasgow Royal Concert Hall taking on increasing responsibility for delivering marketing, sales, media relations, sponsorship and education. Jane has also contributed to the regeneration strategy for the City Halls and Old Fruitmarket and the introduction of a new, integrated and improved sales system for the venues and audience development initiatives for the Celtic Connections festival. As an elected member of the Board of the Arts Marketing Association, Jane has both professional and academic interests in the theory and practice of arts management earning her PhD in Organisation Studies in 2014.
