Schools Week
A former regional newspaper political reporter, Freddie now writes about politics, education policy, trade unions and Parliamentary procedure for the trade newspaper Schools Week. Born in Stroud, Gloucestershire, Freddie has been a journalist since he was 18 and became one of the youngest senior reporters in the country in 2010 when he was still 20 years old. He has written for other titles including the New Statesman, FE Week, The Oxford Mail and Gloucester Citizen. He is a former leader of the Stroud District Youth Council and is a current member of the National Union of Journalists and the human rights campaign organisation Liberty.
