Las Cumbres Observatory
After finishing an M.Phys degree in Astrophysics at Cardiff University, Edward stayed on to complete a PhD in the theory of line-driven stellar winds in 2004. In 2006 he joined the not for profit company Las Cumbres Observatory Global Telescope Network and is now in charge of the company’s global education and outreach effort. He regularly appears on the BBC radio wales programme “ Science Café”, and is an editor for the International Year of Astronomy project, “Portal to the Universe”. Edward is very interested in new developments in web technologies, and often appears, hosts, and directs science podcasts including the highly successful Teapots from Space series.
