Denis is a freelance writer, researcher, performance poet and co-founder of the Liverpool Salon, a discussion forum dedicated to live, free public discussion. He writes on all areas of the arts and has a particularly interest in opera. His own poetry has been published in America and he is involved in various community groups such as North End Writers where he teaches poetry and is a trustee of the board.
