Carmel Harrison PR
Carmel is a former journalist turned PR consultant working with customers in the manufacturing and business sectors in the UK. An ex business journalist for the BBC, Johnston Press, Newsquest and Northcliffe Media she is passionate about communication and open and free debate. She works alongside business groups on training for start-ups and mentors students coming through local colleges who are keen to work in either journalism or PR. She is also involved with Primary Futures to inspire primary school pupils to take advantage of education and understand the link between what they learn in class and the world of work. She is also a pro-European and will stand for election as a Liberal Democrat candidate on Leeds City Council.
