Benjamin Spaeth is a practicing and chartered architect, lecturer and researcher. Before joining the Welsh School of Architecture at Cardiff University in September 2015, he was programme director of the BSc architecture at Xi’an Jiaotong Liverpool University a RIBA accredited sino-british university in Suzhou, China. From 2004 to 2012, Benjamin worked as a research associate at the CAD Lab of the Faculty of Architecture at University of Stuttgart. He studied architecture and urban planning at the University of Stuttgart and the Ecole d’Architecture Paris-Belleville. Upon his graduation as Dipl.-Ing. Architektur he also received a doctoral degree from the University of Stuttgart. Benjamin worked for award winning architectural offices in Germany, France and Switzerland.
