Trinity Sixth Form Centre
Trinity School Strand Road Carlisle Cumbria CA1 1JB
“Academic achievement is good at all levels and we have over 130 students going on to university each year, some to Oxford or Cambridge, some to read medicine or veterinary science amongst many other subjects, and other students gaining much sought-after places with local and national employers. Achievement in other spheres is also impressive. Extra-curricular involvement is a notable feature of the Sixth Form, and students take the lead in the school through sport, through the performing arts, in the classroom, on the student leadership team and through charity work and the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme. Many also gain valuable experience in the workplace, both here and abroad. Our experience is that a vibrant Sixth Form benefits the whole school, by the involvement of Sixth Formers and through motivating younger students to achieve.”
