The King’s Academy
Stainton Way Middlesbrough T58 O0A
“The King’s opened as an 11-18 school of 1,200 students in September 2003, with its Sixth Form provision starting a year later in September 2004. During the last ten years, we have enjoyed a tremendous rise in our GCSE exam results from 34% 5+ A* – C in 2004 to 90% in 2012. Improvements in Sixth Form results have been equally impressive.
In January 2009, the Department of Education identified The King’s as one of the top 100 most improved schools in the country and the most improved school in the North East region.”
