Bradford Grammar School
Keighley Road Bradford West Yorkshire BD9 4JP
“The school is situated on the edge of Bradford in a very pleasant 17 acre green site. In addition to the buildings housing the Preparatory school, the main school and the Foster Beaver College, the site includes a Sports Hall, an artificial pitch and all sports facilities including a swimming pool, tennis and netball courts, hockey pitches. A brand new State of the Art Preparatory School, which is linked to the Senior School, opened after the February half term with the official opening during April, 2008. Pleasant gardens and trees combine to create a very pleasant and peaceful environment for this successful school. The school offers a wide curriculum and by maintaining high academic standards we gain a pass rate in Public Examinations approaching 100%. The atmosphere of the school is created on the basis of a community where pupils are treated as individuals and the discipline of an orderly life comes from within. Pupils are encouraged in the belief that with rights come responsibilities. The development of social consciousness and conscience is important”.
